Gotland can feel a bit unusual, almost exotic, and yet it is so nearby. There are several daily flights from Bromma and Arlanda to Visby, and two to seven daily ferry departures between Oskarshamn/Nynäshamn and Visby.

You'll be close to most everything during your stay on Gotland. From Wisby Strand, the port terminal is within walking distance and the Visby airport is only a 10-minute ride.

Central Visby has about 600 hotel rooms, and another 300 rooms are in the planning or completion phase now. A wide selection of other accommodation options is only a 20-minute drive away.

There are several advantages to holding a congress in a smaller town. For the individual delegates, short traveling distances are a plus. When the day's congress schedule is over, you can jog along the beach, stroll through the small streets of Visby or conveniently buy presents for your family in one of the small shops.
